Love and marriage is like horse and carriage: i think this is not true. Divorce is something that Islam makes as the last solution for family problems. The Prophet (PBUH) teaches us that the spouse shouldn't hate his/her spouse just because if a spouse hates some trait of his/her spouse he/she may find other traits that he/she may like. I believe that every partner has a role and communication between the divorced partners is most likely to be difficult in most cases.
